Where is everyone staying?

just booked for Thursday Friday and Saturday nights at the Casino:eek:ldtu:. I will call Fairfield and cancel tomorrow.

Shoot yeah man, its been awhile. I must say that I was looking forward to hanging out in the camper, listening to 8 tracks, and just chillin with yall, but we will have a blast at the casino and at the track:thumbup:
 
Ok, ok, I give! Switched to Empress, Thur-Sun. Didn't think you'd get it that much cheaper - $40/nt diff, more $$ to give to the casino. btw - they were full for Sun night.
 
we are at the tower place suits, next to the fairfield. the empress was sold out when we found out about it, ( i've been too busy with guns and nothing with trucks) and the wife, wanted something more cozy than just the fairfield.
 
Alert!! Empress has burned down!!!

Yep. You read correctly. The Empress has burned down and as of right now they don't know if they will be open by July 16th for the festivities. I literally just got off the phone with the phone # posted above, for the Empress, and when the receptionist answered, she informed me of the fire. Sorry to bring bad news but better sooner than later.

Glad I didnt cancel my Fairfield reservation yet. I hope the Empress is back up by then but am covered either way.
 
Jeez - what a mess. Thankfully I still have both reservations. I'll give it to July to sort out ;m
 
Sorry if it was old news but I was reading about people still looking to book and thought it was important. If I'm late, my bad.

As a backup just in case the Empress is unavailable, made reservations at the Marriott Townplace Suites that Gunman mentioned.
 
I just reserved a room at the Fairfield Thurs thru Sunday nights, apparently the Empress is full:eek:ldtu:
