Monster box question for Mr Evans

I'm installing your monster kit in my tranny this week , is there any reason to use the -6 pinion overdrive plantary- The truck is an 01 lighting , Thanks Alan

There is no 6 pinion OD I know of, the latest factory is the 4, now the fwd and rev planets have 6 pinion options and I highly reccomend them.

was hunting a rebuild manual when I found this site , Ive had your valve body in my trans since new , I stepped on the motor this winter so the trans had to get worked to , been running 11.80's so come on 10's , Thanks again , Alan

Much as I hate to say it, that's a part I don't have and assuming it's not some chinese cheap stuff, it's likely a pretty good part. That said, the OD planet doesn't take near the abuse that the forward planet does. It certainly woulnd't hurt, but that's pretty pricey for one. (you can get a good steel 4 pinion aftermarket for about $75)

Gregg , I will not be using it in my rebuild,but it maybe a great piece for a heavy hauling one ton that uses OD alot , well thanks again Gregg....
