Anybody have an available gen 1 frame?

I know at one point JamieV did since his crazy azz swapped frames to save a few lbs lol.

A friend of Joe Gambino's is looking for one, so I said I'd post up a feeler for him to see if any delvallo'ers know of one.

According the VIN it's not an L either ... it's a 1993 5.0 truck; non-ABS; non-airbag; built at the Norfolk VA plant.

I think they may have the VIN and year listed wrong. It also says it's a diesel.

That NY CL one is strange. Clearly, the VIN he put in the ad doesn't belong to a Lightning and it isn't a 93 as pointed out by Bump based on the steering wheel...but it has L wheels (granted, not too hard to get for a clone), seats (harder to find when you consider it has the jump seat, too), and 120mph cluster (this one seems like the stretch to get).

Joe, the lightning frame is thicker and reinforced over the rear. That helps it a to with handling. Not sure about the front sway bar mounts either.

Josh, that frame was 4-linked and the front of it was completely cut apart for the AJE suspension. Even if I did it would be worthless to anyone that doesen't have an AJE.

Lightning Dan has my old frame though.
