2014 DelValLO ~1/4 Mile ET List~

***ATTN:*** Since Ralph isn't continuing the tradition of the DelValLO E/T list, I'm starting this thread to capture everyone's 2014 E/Ts! We can't claim to be home of the fastest lightnings if we don't even have a LIST!

***NOTE*** Please post your 2014 E/T, even if it's not a personal best, even if you broke, even if you aren't happy with the time! You can't run a new PB every single year, and we want as many trucks on this list as possible!!!

Just want to keep it consistent with past years, that's why I even copied/pasted the same format as past lists lol. Ralph did a good job at the list, I wish he kept it going lol

I don't remember if there were official rules posted before, but my gut call would be you either have to be a resident delvallo member to be on the list, or you have to have been a guest delvallo member that ran at a delvallo track event.

I'm sure there's exceptions, but I'd say if you ran at Atco, Etown, Cecil, or Island, you're eligible. If you're a delvallo regular and you traveled to FL for NMRA and ran a time there, since you're a delval member that is a legit time to enter. If you're not in the delval region but you traveled up to race at spookfest, then that is a legit time to enter. Sound fair/reasonable?

Sounds good to me :)

Since we only really do one official event a year now you can't ask someone to attend more than one event (which I think used to be a rule).

I'm looking to have the list grow.

If a guy runs a number at spook fest they should be able to be on the list.

If they have been on the list before they should be able to be on the list no matter where they run.

And if they're in the area they should be able to be on the list if they run a number in the area.

That's my thoughts, only my thoughts.

Thanks Paul!!!

1st one on the list and I believe fastest Gen 1 for 2014!!!!

Yeah I do remember the one for you must attend 3 events, but I think that was for trophies. Anyone could be on the list, but if you wanted a trophy, you had to show some attendance to delvallo events to keep from having a stack of trophies for people that never come to anything anyway lol. I guess we'll cross that bridge if/when it comes toa winter bash.

I'm good with pretty much all those other items for the most part.

If a guy runs a number at spook fest they should be able to be on the list.
---Good with that one, or if it's any other major L event in the area like JLP's Cecil rental in the spring. If it's a L event at MIR though I'd say that's too far to include, not intended to leave anyone out, but that's not really a DelValLO home track like Cecil/Atco/Etown.

If they have been on the list before they should be able to be on the list no matter where they run.
---If they're a delvallo "local" that's been on the list before, they can be on the list no matter where they run (ie a DelValLO'er going to a NMRA race in FL or something), but I wouldn't say if one of the TX or FL guys if they were on our 2013 E/T list for racing at Spookfest 2013, but don't come to any DelVal events in 2014, then they shouldn't be on the DelVal list for 2014 if they're only racing in their home state this year, just because they were on the DelValLO list the previous year. Now if they do race at SF again, fair game to return to the list.

And if they're in the area they should be able to be on the list if they run a number in the area.
---Agreed, even if you're the only L at the track that day, if it's a DelValLO'er at a DelValLO track, it counts.

Now you drum up the gen 1 guys to enter the list and I'll get the gen 2 guys to!

feel free to post a pic if you want one of your truck in action to go along with your e/t on the list!

Updated for those that sent me times. If anyone who did post can fill in any missing info that I just put "xxx" in for. No biggie if not, but it just makes for a more complete entry.

The participation here is still pathetic though guys. Where are the rest of you gen 1 guys? Dennis? Jody? All the other gen 1 guys I don't know the names of? Jamie shake them down and post the E/Ts for them if you have to! lol

Where's the rest of the gen 2 guys? Hammer? DudeL? Uncle Frank? Lew? Don? Vinnie? DirtyRimRob? I know everyone didn't have a new best this year and some hurt their trucks, but still get on the list for what you ran in '14, when you bounce back better than ever in '15 it could yield a most improved from '14! Lets go guys show some support this is pathetic!

Yeah I made a half assed run, until the regulator craped out on me and called it a day. All I remember is a 10.60.

I don't care if it's half assed, 3/4 assed, full assed, or *** and a half assed! LOL! Post up your time for me!

lol I can say the past tense "assed" but I can't say present tense "***" lol

Brett, I got the time slip for your run. I got the numbers for you if you want to post them.
