TURNED 16 TODAY!!!!!! I CAN FINALLY GET MY PERMIT!!!!! after 16 long years of waiting, i can finally go for my permit and drive my truck!!! YAHOOOOOO! mike

Congrats!! Like everyone is saying, PLEASE be careful in the Lightning. You have a LOT of years to really learn how to drive a hi performance vehicle. It takes time. It might be wise to reset your timing back to 8*. It will keep the truck from jumping out from under you. Be safe and have fun.

Bah!! I learned to drive in a Mustang GT during the winter..Really compared to a Mustang the L is SOOOOO much easier to handle.. It doesn't have the classic, kickout one way, countersteer, now countersteer the other way, syndrome..

L is actually I feel a pretty good vehicle to learn on other than the monsterous torque...It handles great, has enough power to get out of trouble if you know how to(BIG IF I know), and has weight to it..

Comparing the L in the winter to the mustang is NO CONTEST, the L win's hands down...
