Wow!!

Wow! Friday night was f***ing incredible!!! I'm not sure what the hell was going on with my truck, but I ran a 13.366@101.64 m.p.h.!!!!!! Bone stock!!!!!
I guess i'm gonna have to give it another run or two down the track, and see if it was just a fluke, or not.
Chris

That great, it don't not better than that STOCK! All that, and still covered by your warranty. What was your 60' times? What color is your truck Chris as we all know that can make a big difference.
Alvin

Awesome!

Thats awesome Chris! That track is hooking awesome. I was running consistent 1.73 60' er's. I usually run 1.8xx. It was nice finally meeting you at the track. We had a pretty good lightning turnout Friday night. I think there were four or five gen 2's there. I ended up meeting the guy with the other red one Saturday at the money races. I ended up losing in the semifinals Saturday, but I did win Friday night and took home a pretty big trophy!:D I also ran a new personal best of 12.84 @ 104.9

We are gonna have to all meet over there one night so we can show those LS1's who's boss!;)

Nick

Thanks, Alvin and Nick!
Great job on the 12.84 Nick, and I kinda think that i'd rather take a trophy home, over winning the $$$ ( although 2 wins in a weekend woulda been saweeet! )
I've been wanting to go to the track in Eunice for the longest time, on a test/tune day. Alvin, aren't you near there? Is the track worth going to? I've heard you can make a lot of passes on the t/t days.
Maybe we can get a Lightning Storm going ( convoy of Ls :D ) to Eunice! I know there has to be a Hooters out there too! I have to work this weekend and am supposed to go to Houston the next,, but on my next weekend off after that , i'd be willing to put some miles on my L.

Later, Chris

Where Y'at Chris, Those are some good #s. Did you run that at B.R. or No Problem? I wouldn't waste my time going to Eunice. I helped put on the Ford vs chevy race there about 4 yrs ago and that track SUCKS! No Safety, big pot holes in the return road & you had to dodge the concrete boulders that come from the hole. The grand stands on one side where falling down. The grass was so high you couldn't see the return road. When they preped the track it was slicker that pig snot! And on and on...
Right now No Problem is the track that everyone is going to. Best traction around.

Hi, Abby. I ran at N.P.R. I have ran my bike and other truck at state capitol, and didn't really care for the traction situation there, although it was pretty decent early last year. Sounds like the Eunice track might not be the best place to run my L at. Know of any other tracks that we could get more than 3 or 4 runs at (somewhat close to here)? I am going to try to go back to N.P.R. this Wed. evening after work for a quick run or two.
I just installed the boost bypass kit. I'm pretty sure that I can drop into the high 12's with it - that is if my 13.366 wasn't a fluke.
