wiring question for boost and air/fuel gauge

Third Strike
Ok people I have two question for wiring my pillar pod gauges.

What wire did you guys use for power for the boost gauge... I used a red wire with a yellow stripe (behind the head light switch).

What wire do I hook the purple wire to on the oxygen sensor. There is two white, a black, and a gray...

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I tested the red wire that I hooked the power up to on the boost gauge and it has power... why wont it light the gauge up?? grr I hate electrical stuff :(

no one has installed these gauges?

I hooked the purple wire to the white wire and the gauge lights up one bubble of green (rich) but never changes... could my oxygen sensor be bad?
Thanks Clinton

Correct me if im wrong but i believe the air fuel connects to the white wire with the green stripe...... And for the power wire use the fuse panel this seems to work best for me.....

I hooked the gauges to the white w/blue strip on the headlight switch, this way they will dim to.

And for the O2 sensor I taped in to the wiring harness on the back if the firewall it was the Lt.gray w/blue strip wire.

Hope this helps

is the white wire with the blue strip a ground or is it power. if it is power where do you ground it to other wise what power wire did you use?

That wire will be the power for the light. You can ground it to whatever. That will allow you to dim the gauges with the rest of the instrument panel.

of cause i tryed to ground it to the metal mounting of the head light switch and light doesnt come on . maybe the buld is bad. can you change the autometer ultralight gauges bulb with a normal 194 bulb or do you have to buy a new on from auto meter
