Is wasn't a perfect day, but it was pretty decent. There was an occasional 10-12mph. headwind. The track was sticking really well for Willie and I. I made 6 passes with the '96 Stang GT, the best being a 13.27 w/ a 1.90 60ft. My best 60 was a 1.85. I am sure it would have been the quickest, but my blood/alcohol level was at the point were I couldn't find 3rd gear. I missed 3rd gear on my last 4 passes!
The track crew laughed at me, because they saw me with a beer earlier before I started having problems.
I left before Willie made his last pass or maybe two. It was getting late and he was waiting for the sun to disappear. His best 60ft. before I left was a 1.65. I will have to give him a call to see if he ran any faster. He was still tuning in his suspention. He did manage to destroy his personal best e.t. while I was there. I will post when I get the official times from him.
