will NGK TR55's work?

I've read that they are only one or .5 heat range cooler than the TR5's (stock) and one higher than TR6's. With the mods listed in my sig, do you think they would work? or should I send them back and get TR5's?

Are they the same plug as the TR5's just a bigger gap? What should they be gapped at?

no actually they are hotter than TR-5's. I talked to the NGK TEch guru aand he did not recommend this at all. Stock he said tr-5 and any mods he said to go up to TR-6 or the BREF7's

BTW, the only difference listed on some of the "f-body" vendor sites for the TR55 vs. the TR5 is the gap size.

would bending the ground electrode down from .055 to .040 cause any damage to the firing (might be at more of an angle?)
