Wide Band read out

Tommorow, I'm up on the rollers at Turbo Tech. I will be having a bung installed in the down pipe for a wide band sensor, then will get a couple of runs in with the different programs on my JMS chip.
I'm concerned the new heads and new found power will have me lean. I'm only making about 6lbs of boost nowand my fuel pressure has dropped to 80psi, what would be the leanest air-fuel that I should accept at full tilt?
Currently there are no drivability problems and everything is well, just worried about boost air-fuel.

ARGG I know this one. I think the leanest number you'd want to see is in the 14s. Don't quote me on that. I'm guessing now, theres a good chance I'm wrong.

Steve, I think I know you well enough that you would give up a bit of power for longevity. In my opinion I would keep it around 12-12.5:1 no leaner.

When I am tuning supercharged vehicles, I try to keep the A/F ratio between the high 11's and low 12's to 1. You should be fine at 6# of boost if you get into the high 12's but don't let it get into the 13's under boost. When you first start your pull you may show 13's but as the RPM and boost rise you should see the A/F ratio drop down to the low 12's. Good luck and happy tuning.

Yep I was wrong. What the hell is 14s then, hmmm. Why did I think of that. Oh I remeber now, thats what my freinds mustang hit when his FPR didn't increase fuel pressure on the nitrous.

Thanks guys, that was exactly the info that I needed.
I'll let you know how it all goes!

LightningWX, 14.7 is the stoicometric ratio(perfect) for Air-Fuel ratio, but it tends to be lean.. At that ratio all the air and gas is consumed in a perfect ratio
