Who STILL makes lowering kits for a gen 1?

you can make up for a mild drop with eccentric ball joint spacers. They make adjustable ones or fixed ones.

Wouldn’t lowering it in such a manner impact the alignment specs? Obviously it would be able to have adjustable toe. But wouldn’t the camber be thrown off?

I did not notice any significant issues after installing the springs. The wheels are Bogart Welded RTs. stock size up front and 15x10 in the rear.
 
On the earlier twin I beam trucks they used kingpins instead of ball joints and the official procedure to adjust camber was to bend the I beam in a hydraulic press. Most shops don't have the equipment to do that, so the trucks are generally considered unalignable and that has carried forward to the newer trucks even though it isn't true.

MOOG still offers adjustable bushing that will give you about 3 degrees of camber adjustment. Finding an alignment place that knows how to use them can be troublesome though.

Id like to do my red 94 truck 3/4 but Im not a huge fan of DJM stuff. If only i could find some Belltech Beams..

That's what I have on my truck. PITA, but get the job done. Ended up getting my own alignment equipment so I don't have to live with a a half assed job from the local tire shop that doesn't want to take the time to do it right. The last few days I've been seeing a phone app that does alignments and I'm curious to know how well it really works.
