I have 2 local guys who sell Zaino here in Austin, they're prices are exact same as Sal's prices on zainobros.com. Good Stuff!! :)

Zaino prices tend to be the same no matter where you get them. Sal doesn't really like offering discounts (and RARELY does GP's). However if you can get them from a local Distributor, you can save quite a bit on shipping.

So what do you guys suggest to get?? Could you explain it in detail?

The basics (necessities) are:

Z-1 or ZFX
Z-2
Z-6
Clay Bar kit

Those 4 will get you started.

If you're a "big spender", I'd recommend the Z-7 and Z-5 as well. I normally just use an "off the shelf" clay bar kit (Mother's), and feel that it's just as good as the bar offered by Zaino (but costs less) Regardless of which one you use, it will be a necessity.

There are specific instructions concerning application/removal on the ZainoBros.com website. FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY for best results. There is no question that Zaino is the best product on the market...but you can't take shortcuts. If you're gonna half-a$$ it, you may as well use Meguire's or some other Walmart wax.

Also, invest in some High quality 100% cotten towels. I'm very picky about my Zaino towels. In fact, my car towels cost more than our bath towels. My wife understands this and accepts it. She even washes them seperately from the other laundry (that's why I love her so much :D ).

Good luck...and prepare to be dazzled/addicted!

here is what I have in my garage:

Meguiars Clear Coat Body Scrub Paint Cleaner (1 bottle)
(good for bug stains, sap, bird doodoo)

Dawn dishwash soap (1 bottle)
(use this before you polish, it removes remaining waxes & polish)

Zaino Z1 Show Car Polish Lok Pre-Cleaner & Gloss Conditioner (1 bottle)
(use after you wash the vehicle, just before you polish it, let dry and leave on, apply next step right over it)

Zaino Z2 Show Car Polish for Clear Coat Finishes (2 bottles)
(gives it that great wet look, let it dry for several hours if you can for best results)

Zaino Z5 World's Best Car Polish (2 bottles)
(Fills the swirl marks & scratches, even better shine, best if let dry for 24hrs)

Zaino Z6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray (4 bottles)
(Good for wiping down in between polish coats, as well as just spot cleaning when ever on the vehicle, I keep one in the truck all times)

Zaino Z7 CarWash Concentrate (2 bottles)
(I pour a little into my car wash bucket when I wash my truck)

Zaino Z18 Clay Bar (1 Bottle)
(I use this to remove stuborn rail dust that settles in the paint usually on the rear of my previous cars I had, havn't needed it for the tryck yet)

Zaino 100% Cotton Pads (2 dozen)

read thier tips & tricks section, stuff works :) if you follow tips like using "ONLY" 100% cotton towels, and straight line polishing (vs wax on, wax off like Karate Kid) it makes a difference!

I use the Meguirs paint cleaner for stuborn stuff like bug stains & tar/sap stains. Other than that Zaino shtuff if great :)

only use the dawn if you are wanting to strip the polish off..
to start the process do this:
wash with dawn
wash with zaino wash
use claybar
wash with zaino wash
dry very good
mix up a bottle of ZFX & Z5 scratch remover
apply, let dry & remove
use Z6 spray
mix bottle of ZFX & Z2clear coat polish
apply let dry & remove
use Z6 spray

in between coats, you can use the tire/plastic dressing and other stuff also.

when using ZFX, you can put up to 3 coats on in a day! it takes the place of Z1.

i'm sure to have all my zaino stull with me at WFC.. if theres plenty of beer involved, you can get plenty of help from the lightning crowd. LOL
