Wheels (long)

Anyone have some good online links where I can see nice rims that fit the Ls?

Been to tire rack. I am considering running some Nittos in the back on weekends and such when I want to have fun so I am also looking for a place that sells the Nitto 555R and the regular nitto for up front...305/45/18 if I recall is what we need.

Thanks.

Also does anyone know what the bolt, backspacing etc. is that I need?

Are all the weld racing wheels lite? Would consider some of their 18s if they will help increase performance some.

I also like the Torque Thruster wheels like from American Racing, I see they have an 18" in that need to check size though.

I've also seen the torque thrust II in a 20 inch.. Don't have a price. Also didn't see either 18 or 20 on american raning wheel'
s website. I have seen the 20 in person.....JR

I saw those 18" torque thrust wheels on AMR website. I thought they would look cool and would be nice to have my Nittos put on those maybe. Pricey though. Anyone know if they are lighter or heavier then the stock L wheels?

Thanks for the responses.

I can get you a price on the ARE Torque Thrust II 18" with the Nitto's... Are you looking for 2 or 4 rims...

Morpheus,
My company is Just Tires... I got a price on them today and the 18" American Racing Torque Thrust II is $375.00 per wheel and the Nitto Drag radials are 305/45R18 and I have been getting those for all the ILLNESS members... Tire price is $225 each...Let me know if interested...

SLVRLTNG,
The 20" ARE Torque Thrust II's are $475 each...

SVT375,
American Racing makes that rim in a 5-135 bolt pattern which is the fitment for all 97-up F150's...

Yes I am interested in those tires. I posted in the GP section also.

Whats shipping run on them typically?

On the AR wheels at 375, the torque thruster IIs, straight bolt up then? Do you know how much the weigh by chance?

One other ? on the AR wheels. Are they 18x10 in the custom offset section? Or is there another one I am missing someplace?

If they are the 18x10 will that all clear up front with the brakes and such? I don't want to have to grind the wheel or calipers.

Thanks for the help.

Morpheus,
Tires would run about $20 for the pair shipped... 18x10 should clear the front and it is the custom offset... They do make a 18x8 as well the would clear with no problems but the 18x10's should work because the 20" rims are usually 10" wide and those seem to fit... I also replied to your posts on the tires...

Morpheus,
The TTII's should be lighter than the stock rims... I put a set on a 95 Impala 2 days ago and when I was balancing them they felt really light... I should be able to get Weld rims also... Our website is being worked on daily and in the next few weeks we should have the same set-up as the Tire Rack with the vehicle selector for the rims... We already have it on our work computers but i guess they may have some glitches on the website...

Justin,

The 305 nittos will work on a 18x9.5 rim right? Just wanted to double check that they were not too wide or something...

10mm difference won't play with my odometer? Mostly worried about my miles going up too fast :)

Also can you check and see if those AR torque thruster wheels will work in front and rear for sure? I don't want to modify anything to make them work and I don't want them rubbing either.

The other thing is can you get a weight on them? Lbs per wheel...

Thanks a lot.

I will likely be ordering at least the tires soon and then get wheels to put them on when I make up my mind ;)

Morpheus,
Those tires will fit on the 9.5" rims no problem... Odometer will not be thrown off by more than a 1mph @ 80-100mph so not really... I will check the fitment and other ?'s on the wheels and let you know back...

Later, Justin
