What Do You Think??

I'm scheduled to take the L in for the intercooler recall this Thursday. I've been to the dealer a couple of times to have service performed on the L as well as my wife's Expedition. Question? Take all the mods off or roll the dice since it's a factory recall?

Has anyone taken there's in with the mods still on and did you get the third degree or worse?

I wouldnt take it in with mods.. they will fix it but the next time you need something thats not a recall they may remember. Its happened to me in the past...

Be carefull

I would think if the dealer is a VERY mod UNFRIENDLY type of place, they may note your mods in the Ford computer.

I count my blessings every time I take my L to my dealer...VERY mod FRIENDLY!

I left the JDm air filter kit in when I brought mine in. I removed the chip and reinstalled the dust cover. They didn't say anything to that. A friend of mine that works at a ford dealer said they don't intentionally look for a chip, even if the check engine light is on. They replace what needs to replaced and get back to replacing head gaskets on the 3.8L engines.
