Weird thoughts while driving....

I was driving around bored the other day when my phone rang. My new ring tone (The Imperial March) prompted a rather interesting thought about the colors of the original Gen 1s:

Black =

Red =

White =

I know. I'm weird.

So to continue the starwars metaphor

black lightnings: evil looking on the outside, old and decrepit inside.
white lightnings: fearsome looking but incompetent.
red lightnings: the elite guard, the best of the best.

But Raymond, did you ever see the elite guard lose or die?? You see storm troopers die left and right, and you see Darth lose/die...But I never saw a single Elite Guard lose/die...So does that mean a red truck will never lose/die??

Of course I'm partial, I drive the elite Lightning

Black: The Boss. Omnipotent

Red: Middle Management. Buffer. Paper pusher.Protects the Big Guys.

White: The doers. The mainstream. The ones that actually have to work.



Don't feel bad about being weird, I had to drive back and forth from Laurel, MD., to Delaware, OH., every two weeks to see my Wife.

Consequently, I got pretty good at my Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra impressions. At least I thought I did.

black=the only "cool" color for a fast vehicle and the only true monochromatic (all one color) Lightning (door handles and buttons, mirrors, bumper pad, tires-hehe).
