Weekend update from the Lab

L8-APEX

Man on the edge
Well we pulled the winston cup car out of the trailer and circulated the fluids. Some days are better than others ;) Then I got caught up on some of my projects by grabbing a dual 3" bumper scoop, 10' brake duct, 12" filter kit, and other misc crap... Then wala! Some kind of fresh/cold
air intake system :D Now to build a box and fine tune it. Hopefully I can get the IAT readings down on open filter kits. Even in 50 degree air I have seen standing temps around 113 and hwy temps aroud 70-80 degrees. Looks intimidating or something too :p

So L8-Apex,

What about brake ducting for the rotors? Have ya done that ?

If so, do you know if the fog light holes have room for brake ducting hoses ?

You have to hole saw the back of the fog light socket to route the hose through because it is solid. I am concerned that the bends required would kill flow to nill. I have a few ideas on how to get it there. I may mold a lower valence like the Cobra R that clips on for track use. Another problem is making a rotor hat to hold the duct on the spindle and removing the water shield from the back of the rotor so air can get where it needs to go. Or something:rolleyes:
