what about a free web page for the news letter and events. it could be set so things expire in so many days to keep its size down. their are free servers out their for this. i think everyone has an email? right... this is just for events not a general post area. maybe set up to automatically email every one of a comming event.....

my site has this ability. If this is set up like mine the moderator of the forum should be able to make an announcement too.

Currently my site just has the forums. I am working on some flash to put on the main page and I will start building from there. Right now it is only local people but I was hoping to get some of the lightning crowd over there as well. I am planning on making a trucks only forum that would welcome all truck fans.
