Waylon Jennings died yesterday (2/13)...

I heard and read about it this morning.

He had been fighting diabetes, and had his left foot amputated in December.

He was there in the beginning of Rock 'n Roll with Buddy Holly, and revolutionized the way things were done in regards to recording and standing up for the artist, not the Nashville machine.

Truly an interesting, and remarkable individual.

He will be missed.

I remember a documentary on him not to long ago. He really changed the way the wheels rolled in Nashville. Very interesting on how he got started etc. And I agree with you JFX
He will be missed

Yup, OL' Waylon. I didn't get into country til about 1990 or so, but I do remember him and know full well that he was a legend. One of the Highwaymen, rest in peace.
