The front suspension CAM was very boring and uneventful, but I will do a ClunkCAM this weekend.

The Upper PulleyCAM was interesting. Something caught my eye from the on-board video and the results are very illuminating/electrifying! If there was a reason to call this vehicle the Lightning, check out the videos!

I've review most of the videos and can't find any sign of the rubber boot distorting or collapsing under boost. I guess that's
good news.

The following videos were done with only one cheezy disposable light. It was all I had, so the images are grainy.

This video I found interesting because the beginning of the run is uphill with a bend and then it flattens out. UPCAM uphill (4.8 mb) The road is smooth the entire run. Watch the violent shaking after the 2-3 shift. I felt that the ride was smooth other than the slight vibration at the start from the acceleration on the corner.

Three blips of the throttle (2.5 mb)

Its late and maybe I'm missing something, but whats with the flashes?

The hood light turns on under hard acceleration.

It's either a design flaw or an "easter egg" provided by a goofy Ford Engineer.

George, I love the videos!!!

BTW, the shaking, is that road surface or is the engine squirming around on its mounts that much??

Jeff

In the beginning of the video, I was accelerating uphill with a curve feathering the throttle so I wouldn't break the tires loose and spin. Thus, I expect some vibration in the beginning, even though the road was smooth.

It's the engine shuddering after the 2-3 shift. The road was smooth and I didn't feel anything other than a firm shift and acceleration. When I saw the video, I was shocked.

I'll set it up again and see how often this occurs.
