Update: Project blown up lightning

Last night I got a call from Herb Jackson, he found a real nice 5.4 long block at the dealership and they gave it to me. It has a spun bearing but all the castings look to be in perfect shape.

As soon as I can get it apart, the block and crank will head north and the heads are headin south to John Haskell's place. I got the new stainless valves on order this morning from PSP.
