Unlevel bed height

Over the weekend I let my girlfriend drive the L home and I noticed the passenger side of the bed was lower than the driver side. The diffrence was you could see the rudder seal on the bottom of the window but not on the driver side. Any suggestion, commets would be helpfull. 65000 miles- BFG tires

You can check the body monts to see if there is any shims in the cab mount or the bed. Look at the bed mountings to see if one side has been smashed. also on level ground see if you can measure any differance from frame to ground. you could have some suspention problems or the frame might have a twist in it . Do you know the history of this truck?? It could have been abusde or wrecked. Sorry for spelling.

I'm the 3rd owner, it has never been wreaked or in an accident. I have had the truck for 2 years, I'm sure I would of noticed it before this. My thought is the shock is worn out and that would cause one side to be lower. Or mady the rubber shimms are worn out. The truck has never been used to pull anything, just my luggage under the cover.

I noticed mine was unlevel awhile back. Not as bad as yours sounds though. I just removed all of the shims from the bed mount on the high side and it sits alot closer to level.

We noticed the '95 was lower on one side after having it more than 6 months (original owners.) Like Sam said, it was the bed shims, but I had Ford fix it under warranty.

Don't mess with the shocks. It's not that. They don't make any difference at all. Common misconception. You can take them completely off and it doesn't make any difference in how your vehicle sits. You need to crawl under it and do a detailed inspection of it and see whats up. Do some measuring with a tape measure and see where your difference is coming from. THis will point you in the right direction.
