Unleashed the V-Rod

Will it is the middle of winter here in New England and I knew when I bought the bike a few weeks ago I would have to let it sit for a log time, well the other day I just couldn't take it any more and took the bike for a good rip. It was freezing out but well worth it, the bike really moves and is really well balanced. Here is a pic I snapped on top of a parking garage.

Trust me I understand. I started a ritual a few years back where I would wake up early on Christmas morning and go for a nice long ride before I would have to be stuck in the house with the whole family doing the gift exchange / dinner thing. Usually a nice ride in December in South Florida is not a problem but a few years back the temps were in the 30's, I couldn't believe the ZX-11 even wanted to fire up. I put on every warm piece of clothing I could find and headed out for adventure. You see Christmas AM is the one and only time that you won't encounter a single car out on the roads around here and the police well it's Christmas after all so they are a little more understanding. I got more than a few strange looks from the people I did encounter at the deli I stopped at for breakfast but I wouldn't change a thing about my Christmas AM memories cold or not. Good luck with the new "V " and ride safe.

sweet ride. i never thought i'd pick a Harley over a sport bike, but that V Rod is gorgeous. i'd move south if i were you. i don't think i'd be able to stand winters knowing that i have a V in the garage that i can't ride

I can hear it rumble (not really, it's pretty smooth), as I write this. We are developing maps for the V Rod and I believe I saw a 120 rwhp reading as I walked by? Yup, it sure is purdy, maybe Dynojet will let me buy it when we're done with it?

Saw it at NAIAS. They had one sitting next to the Harley truck. It's gorgeous up close and personal also. Yeah, it's me, the KID, the one that 's never liked Harleys. This model has made me a believer.
