Hey Folks,
Other than your exhaust notes and screeching rubber
, what music get's ya going? I have been on a Zeppelin kick since last Spring. For X-Mas, I received their 10-CD Complete Studio Recordings Boxed Set.
It is just so awesome listening to their stuff. Powerful & energetic, and the chemistry the band had (especially the synergy of Plant's vocals and Page's strings) was phenomenal. My fave album is Led Zeppelin II, with their fourth Untitled album right behind. The song that really gets me rolling however, is "Nobody's Fault But Mine" from their Presence album. Explosive tune!
93.3 & 94.1 are really the only two stations I like. Classic 60's/70's heavy rock has been my fave for quite a while now. Beginning to get into old Blues as well (Zep's major influence). Classical can be very relaxing also, a style which grew on me as I got older.
I severely dislike Rap, Hip-Hop, current Pop, Disco, and the 80's Pop (which, unfortunately, was my growing-up music).
So, let's hear it. What do you all listen to? What bands/music rock you and your L's?
