Tune-up time

I am planning on giveing my truck a tune-up sometime soon and had a few ???I was going to do plugs,wires,dis cap,rotor,pvc,and service the tranny.I was thinking about useing ford SVO wires (9mm I think) but, am a little unsure about plugs.Are the stock motorcraft plugs worth anything or should I use a different kind (Any idea's)What about the cap and rotor button I have heard about you should have one with brass connection's right?Would the local parts store have this?Is there any brand fluid recomended for are tranny's??I am also thinking about playing with the timeing some too since that is free

I just bought an Accel cap and rotor from Advance Auto for $20. The part# I was out for was 8432 but they did not have that one. They did have 8433 and it works fine. I don't know what the difference is between the two.
