I don't know how these are designed, but based on previous experience with the slapper bars typically sold by Lakewood they won't work properly on a L2. The stock exhaust (and the two after market cat backs I've seen) runs right under the front spring eye on the passenger side. If the bar doesn't hit on the spring eye it won't work right, and might be worse than no bar at all. It appears that the JDM cat backs will allow a good traction bar which I will be building for my truck in the near future. If there is interest I might be persuaded to crank out a few to sell, but only if I can keep the cost at or below $150/pair. To me it is absurd to pay $300 for traction bars that have (maybe) $50 in material in them and as much labor.
