Torque Convertor

Torque converter

Mark here (LFP),I carry PI torque converters. Probably the best in the industry with a two yr. warranty. A torque converter won't produce more HP just arrange it to hit at a more advantages rpm range. Generally cutting as much as .4 to .5 off your 1/4 time. I'll shoot you a price on a Gen1 converter.

Mark, how much stall do you recommend for a street/strip truck?:)

Actually, if PI still does things they way they used to, they custom build your converter to your truck's specs. They have a nifty form that allows you to specify weight, cam specs, rear end ration, tranny rations, tire diameter, induction, psi of boost if applicable, use of vehicle, etc.

You guys have to remember buying a converter for an E40D ain't like opeining up Summit to buy one for the TH350 in your V8 Vega----flip the pages to find the Saturday Night Special with nothing but a "suggested" stall speed. A stall speed will vary depending upon your application.

That's why PI rules--they guarantee the stall for your vehicle. Heck, Mark already mentioned the two year warranty. But, that also includes two recalibrations if your combo changes.

I also was fortunate enough to pick mine up for under 600 bucks about a year ago. :tu: Sorry, they won't honor that price any more.
