We sell a ton of these things at the shop I work at. On some vehicles they work, on others they don't. The best results we've had are on carbed or TBI engines. One customer with a mid 80's Chevy dually with a 454 went from 8.5 mph to almost 10 on the same 300 mile trip he's made 50 times. He also said that his truck didn't downshift going up the hills anymore. On MPFI cars they help sometimes when they are right in front of the mass air meter because they allow it to read more accurately. It just depends on the vehicle.
