Tip's on M/T et streets???

Hello everyone,
I just purchased a set 30/12.5 et streets and i was hoping maybe someone has some tips for me. I've never raced with slicks before so this will be a first. What works the best for you guy's? Tire press? What do you launch at? How long should I heat them up? Any help would be great. Also i purchased a set of 15/10 wheels to mount them on. Should i have bought tubes? Thanks for the help.
Jeff,

Hello Jeff,

The Mickey Thompson website has good suggestions about pressures, burnouts, and most important, seasoning your new tires. The MT website can be reached by clicking the link below:

M/T ET STREETS

Hey Jeff those M/T ET STREETS are the way to GO!!!;) My Best Ever pass on M/T ET Streets is a 1.70 60'....Tire Pressure depends on the Outside Temp.... I run 27# of air Pressure in the Summer's 80 Degree Heat. My Best then was a 1.71 60' Ft.....In the Cold like 40 Degrees I ran my best ever of a 12.67 @ 104.68 MPH with 21#'s of Air Pressure....The burnout's I Overdue a Tad:rolleyes: I normally keep the tires spining till I lose site of the Crowd!!!:Y
Good Luck & Stay FAST!!!!:tu:

I would definetly buy a short belt to bypass the powersteering. If not you will be losing power everytime you move the steering wheel down the track...and trust me, with a soft sidewall tire you will!
