Thunderhill Track Day!

Stan Brown, a new Lightning owner, asked me to post the following event info. I've been at events with Stan in the past and hopefully several Lightning owners will attend this event.

Hi folks, the time has come again for a day of activity at Thunderhill. Pretty much the same premis as before, show up, drive and have fun. Will be running two groups again, experienced with open passing and the other group with limited passing zones. Full course (3 miles), no chicanes and over the top of turn 5. Thunderhill is working with me in regards to financing and such, but I do need to get them some money soon to hold the day in reserve. I will be mailing out the info to people in a few weeks, so please do send in your check as soon as possible. I will need to have 30-35 drivers for this event. Here are the basic details:

When: March 28th
Where: ThunderHill Raceway Willows CA
Website: http://www.thunderhill.com
Cost: $225

(Email Stan he will forward his mailing address to you for payment.)

Please email me with any questions at sbnbpbsb@hotmail.com

Feel free to ask others that you may know, but please keep in mind that we pride ourselves in holding a very unrestricted event and need everyone to behave responsibly.

Rumor has it that Steve of Westcoast Muffler will be there with his Chevy Silverado. Don't consider it a chance to show Steve that Lightnings are awesome trucks, because he already knows that. His Silverado is a sweet truck - he lets me drive it whenever he works on my Lightning. But, it will be fun to finally do a side by side comparison to a Chevy that has similar mods (SC, suspension, etc.).

Man, you guys just have all the tracks out there.

Ive got Watkin's Glen and Pocono Lawn not to far from me, but thats about it. :)

English town is supposed to open a new 1.4mi track next season.

Thanks for posting Spike!

Hey I got in finally. Just a bit more info. I like anything that drives on a track. At the last event we had Camaros, BMW's, Vettes, RX7's, Mustangs and of course Lightnings as well as others. I welcome all marques as long as they are driven responsibly and safely. These are not race events, but rather a chance to be out there as one with your car.

So to answer your question, Yes you may invite others to participate, just keep in mind the above basic ideal.

Please email me with any questions you may have.
