Thunderbolt

Has anyone seen the new Ford Thunderbolt truck? It is a Ranger with a bunch of bolt on plastic. Made for Ford by SLP. One of our customers is doing the painting of the parts for them. The guy there gave me a sales brochure. No performance but sway bar and such. He says motor might be next year.

I would much rather pay for a stripped out bare model Ranger and put in the Lightning or Cobra crate engine with a T-56 behind it! Then do some suspension work with tasteful wheels of my own choice. And make sure it didnt have the Ranger rear end that just got recalled too..ouch..Poor Ford; they are having to recall alot these days!

That is the ugliest Ranger ever! I would'nt be caught dead in one of those.
