looks great! i cant wait to get my kit. i was wondering if the bottom of the seat is carbonfiber? is any of it carbonfiber cause at those angles and at the distance the pics were takin i cant really tell. looks black but hey I like all the interior and its a really sharp looking truck.

the boat is awsome how much does it run i want to buy it now. like it alot! :D

Do you find that the door plates scratch? I seem to always be dragging my feet across the plastic ones and I was worried about messing up this billet part.

Thanks for your help,
Alvin

Let's see if I can answer all this. All the black interior pieces are painted gloss black, don't like carbon fiber look and wanted to go with a fifties hod rod look. The door sills do scratch if you drag your feet across them, I wear sandals and hardly ever touch them. The inside of the plate does seem to wear from the door opening and closing. I actually made out pretty good because the company I bought the plates from sent me two pairs when I only paid for 1. So one set is used for shows and the other for every day use. The boat cost alot of time and money. I would have to say about 2,000 in materials including kit. Took me 3 years to build. Alot of hand sanding, fiberglass laying, and painting. Just think of it as building a real boat but much smaller. The kit from tower is actually just a pile of wood.

Great job, man...

I just caught the pics. of the S/C polishing, too. You've got a lot more patience then I ever had. Let us see how it turns out.

BTW, you're replacement stuff is being done now. I'll let you know as soon as I get it back.

Keep up the good work.

Rich
