Telling People to Search....

Guys,

Please understand that all the information from the old Bulletin Board has not been imported to the new Board. I am not sure that it ever will be.

So, telling someone to do a search will only net results from the date the new board went up.

Please be little thoughtful and maybe try to answer a few of these questions so we can build the database up again.

so does that mean the the nloc.NET will be permanent. It's not going back to the .ORG? I thought I read a post where it was being worked on to go back to the .ORG.

This is the way I understand it. The URL may move back to nloc.org. The changes you see here are permanent.

However, I am not sure if we are going to be able to import all the old information. Jeff S. should have all these answers.

I hope to figure out how to import all the old stuff.

nloc.org as it was won't ever be back, but nloc.net and nloc.org will point to the same web site in the not-too-distant future.

I don't know about searches, but on my old bookmarks all I have to do is change the .org to .net in the address to be able to view it. The pics don't show, but the messages do. Hope that helps.
