Symptoms of Bad FMU or AFPR?

What are the symptoms of a bad FMU? Or maybe a bad Aeromotive FPR?

First thing is do you have a fuel pressure gauge on the truck you can watch as you are driving?What is the truck doing?

My truck will not start now. It died crossing a road. It finally restarted after several minutes. I got it home and turned it off. I tried to restart with no luck. I checked the underhood fuel pressure gauge and with the key on I get about 20psi. I used to get nearly 40 at idle.

Any clues? It does this from both pumps.

How old is your fuel filter? I'm guessing plugged fuel filter or bad AFPR. - Brian

I agree w/ Guzzler, if it was only one tank I'd say pump.

20 is low sounds like FPR could be weak on ya.

Dam, that sucks. THe FPR has less than 7K on it. Aeromotive has excellent customer service---maybe I'll give them a calland see if they can help me out.

Would that low of fuel pressure keep the truck from starting?
