Superwhite Fogs, Factory Replacement bulb

Just wanted to let you all know that there is a superwhite replacement for the stock fogs on our trucks. I found two manufacturers. They are pricey though. Piaa makes a factory replacement for the H3 at about 20 bucks a pop. Another company makes them called A1C. I got these. They are Xenon Gas superwhites, part number 50H3PW. Around 32 bucks for the set. They are 100watt bulbs that perform at a 130 watt rating. Stocks are 55 watts. This is a tremendous improvement when coupled with bright whites for the regular headlights. You won't believe the difference.

There probably is. I didn't get them off the web though. A local place had them. Truck accessory place called Cap World. You can probably get them off the net cheaper. I just happened to be there and asked the guy. The local auto parts places didn't have anyone that knew anything. Sad when you know more about stuff than the people that are supposed to be selling it to you. Do a search on the web, I'm sure you'll get more than you wanted. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I have the diamond head lights with the hyper whites, I woulld love to have some matchimg whites for the fog. So come on where is the part # and the best place to get them.
Let us know Chris, were did you see them?

Roddy, were in the same boat. I looked all ove the web, and that site seemed to be the best. Chris listed the part # at the top. And i think it matches the link i found.

Will those fit the Hella replacement driving lights? I put those in my truck to replace the factory driving/fog lights in the lower valance. They are already stupid bright, but I would love to get some plasma white to match my headlites.

do tell...

P.S the driving lights I have I bought from that Susqachewa motor sports place or whatever.

:D
