Yep, the ole stock cd player won't gimme back my Stevie Ray Vaughan cd. I'm pissed. It'll play it, but it thinks it doesn't have to give it back. I offered it a knuckle sandwich, but it wasn't having any of it. What to do??
Nevermind, the SOB must have heard me talking $hit about it and decided to cough it up. About time it gave it back because it has been stuck for weeks.
Step 2: Find the manual disc release ( usually on top or bottom of unit).
Step 3: Use a small screwdriver or similar object to manipulate release mechanism.
Step 4: Have unit cleaned at a reputable shop (Circuit City, etc..) prior to reinstalling.
STEP 5: If none of the above work, beat the living **** out of it, and if it doesn't release, buy a new CD and CD Player...Or just give me the titles of the tracks(or a friend) and burn a new CD..

I beat the S#@$ out of mine after it continued to munch on my brand new cd I was breaking in, took the headunit out,.. pried out cd, broke cd, slammed radio down..
I think I'll stick w/ the engine mods for now . Besides, I have a very limited collection of cd's (2 SRV greatist hits plus ~10 others) so a new player would be a waste for me. I have always borrowed cd's from friends; they are pretty much a traveling music store. I'll just get them to burn me a copy if need be(thanks LS for the offer tho ).
