Need more info on porting the trick flows. What are you doing with the truck. Is it blown stroked juced N/A. They might be enough right out the box, but I've heard people swear to never put an unported head on there cars. I'm no expert, but maybe I can get some info out of ya before the experts come in.

Your GT-40s are worth whatever someone will pay for them. I don't know a ball park value, I'm actualy curious of this myself.

Jim,

I'd *guess* $300-$400 for the GT40s (complete), depending on how hot-to-trot someone wanted them. I was gonna off mine for 300, but I then looked out the window at my '88 LX ragtop and had another thought. ;) It's just too easy with those stinkin' Mustangs...

Later,

Well im looking to get the best flo out of my trick flows because im going to be pushing my vortech to about 15#s......
Anyone know who does good port work and how much this will cost me???

Yeah, I have a friend on the east side of Flint Michigan (near the intersection of Belsay and Coldwater Roads) that does some machining and engine building on the side. He has ported many GM cylinder heads, as well as a few race motorcycles, and maybe a snowmobile or two. Not sure how he'd be on Ford heads, but knowing the quality of his work in general, I'd take 'em to him in a heartbeat. Very reasonable price-wise, too. Not sure what he'd want to port your heads. If you want, I can get you his number.

From what I recall from my Twisted Wedge porting experience, they were very easy to make work well. They would be very hard to mess up. Nice heads.

Later,

I would personally send them to a Total Engine Airflow. I've been looking at they're flow numbers on their CNC TFS heads, and for the money they can't be beat. They keep a relatively small runner(185cc) and flow a ton of air(over 300cfm at .500) which means great velocity in the port. They are also very reasonable on port work since they do it in large volume. A set of ported TFS heads from them is 1800-1900 bucks, but since you have the heads I would suspect about $1000 in porting cost. I know this sounds like alot, but that's for an awesome head... Ask Jeff, he had the stage 2 ported TFS heads.
