Stereo Question

Does the Lightning have a premium sound system with a amp. The guys at the stereo shop didnt know and I havent pulled the radio out to find out what plug to get. I just wanted to know if the lightning uses the square plug for the power and groung or the one that is shaped like a rectangle? Please any one that has had there radios out help. Thanks

My stock head unit had 2 rectangular plugs. One of them delt with the power and grounding wires and whatnot, the other was just for the speaker wire hook ups. If you ask for an installation kit for an F-150 Ford you should get the right pieces.

It takes like two seconds to pull the factory deck out. Wal-mart has the tool ($4) that goes into the small holes on the factory deck. I believe they can have it either way amp or not, mine didn't have the amp

Mine has a rectangle for the speakers and a square one for the power.

If you have the factory cd player, you have the premium sound with the amp, otherwise i don't think it comes with one.

Thanks for the info. I have the CD player and pulled it out and have the sqaure plug.
