I noticed, on pics that have been posted on here, that on everyones steering wheel BUT MINE they have a "leather" wrap on them. Mine doesn't have it on there. I'm assuming every L came with it. How much do they cost? Can you get them from Ford or where can you get them? I'm not even sure that I'd put it on there but I'm just curious how much it'd cost to get one and where to get it.

you could probably get the whole steering wheel from ford but it wont be cheap or find a junked f150 that has the leather wrapped steering wheel and pull it.:tu:
I think the 93 trucks didnt have the same steering wheel as the 94-95 trucks. I could be mistaken though.
and I think I'm gonna go put a few slashes in my steering wheel quick before the insurance company comes to look at it. The top of mine is getting a bit worn out. A new one couldn't hurt.

the 93's have a leather wrapped wheel and are different from the standard trucks as well as the '94 and '95 Ls. mine suffered from the black goo so I checked into a replacement, hope you are sitting down, they wanted $400! check the classifieds for someone parting out a 93. I don't have the internet address with me but there is a company that will recover the steering wheel, I'll post it later tonight.

I put a AutoZone steering wheel cover on mine, never been happier 
My leather had completely dried out, and was hurting my fingers.
My leather had completely dried out, and was hurting my fingers.Well, mine's a 94 and I'm sure it probably had it on there at one time. I was just kinda curious how much a replacement cover was. Actually I really like it alot better without the cover. Fits my hands better. I've driven a L with the cover and it was kinda bulky. Without the cover I have more control. Here's what mine looks like except the shot was taken a bit far away.

I want a full center console in my truck instead of that stupid folding seat crap!!! That is so much nicer looking than mine. It looks just like the one that was in my Bronco. I wonder how much of a PITA it would be to remove the middle seat thats in my truck now and put a console in its place. anyone done this before?
and my steering wheel miraculously got some nasty gouges in it before the towtruck came today. looks like the insurance company will be buying me a new cover as well.
