Can we get a group purchase going for a stall converter. One that is a soft launch and great from a roll for more or less street racing rather then the hard launch one, cause that one just makes it to hard to hook up plus when you're like me and all your friends have s/c mustangs you need to be fast from a roll. If we can do this please e-mail me at AedGT1@aol.com
thanks alot

Hey, I'd be interested in that...I want a Precision Industries 2600 stall (lock up)convertor maybe someone can findout more info on doing this......?

See i'm looking for a bigger stall, more like a 3000 stall. I know Yank makes on for us now but not the thruster one with a hard launch, we need one with a soft launch and to be good from a roll so that we can hang with those sticks shifts alot easier

Id definately be in if Level 10 converters were an option....they are supposed to be pretty nice and reliable, but something in a 2600 for me

rumor has it that PI makes level 10's convertors...

if i stop runnin, the evil little clowns will get me...

Hey guys i called level10 and they have one that is top of the line that depending on your mods it drops your ET from one second to half a second in the quarter mile. Art Carr has the same kind and they are around the same price. Level 10 $725 with the discount and Art carr says if we get 15 people they will give use a 20% off theres are $780. If any of you guys would like to give them a call I talked to Pat at level 10 (973-827-1000)and Scott McDonald at Art car (775-325-6282).

Baby2000, did you ask Precision Ind., I also heard they make level 10s convertor. I'm still interested in a 2600 stall. I don't know if we'll be able to get up 15 people though for Arts discount.

Guys,

I hear everyone saying "I want a 2600, I want a 3000."

The guys at PI will tell you what you want

They need you to fill out a form that lists all your mods, cam profile, rear gears, tire diameter, shift points, pounds of boost, amount of N2O, etc.

They take all of this into account and build you a converter based on your vehicle and its intended purpose. Then, you can have it rebuilt twice in two years if you make any drastic changes to your combo.

I guess what I am saying is let the pros at PI tell you where to set the stall. Unless, that is, you are a pro.

The really hooked me up good. No pun intended.
