Stall converter question

I put in a 9 1/2 in. Precision Industry converter and ever since I installed it my shift kit doesn't seem to be hitting gears as hard. This is at partial and wot. I was just wondering why the converter would change the shift kit.

What stall did you get.Maybe it is slipping.

I believe thats normal for the shifts to soften with a high stall converter. Not sure as to exactly why though.
