Looks good Stan. Now you get to do the rears. I made all new stainless steel hard lines so that I could replace the three rubber lines at the rear with stainless flex lines.

guess What is Missing?

I am amazed no one has seen what is missing on the calipers.Tha answer to follow in a few posts.
PS what I did was omit the item and made a different style.
Hint it is made out of Devcon[Hi temp Plastic].That is the piece I made is.Stan

Is it the metal plate that goes behind the rotor and helps to force air onto the brakes for cooling?

Spike - I think you answer is the correct one

I was going to cut a huge hole in mine to attach the brake cooling duct. Funny thing is, I called Ruslow about the "cooling issue" about 2 hours ago and left a message...

No George you don't need to find your ck book for the answer. But do need one more post from someone else to know the answer.
Yes I did cut the cooling sheild off but did that a long time ago.As for drilling a hole the factory sheild already has a scoop of sorts on it so you can direct the air into it.

Remember someone else need to post.

Hint; look at the caliper bolts.Something is not the same as others.Stan :D

See, the thing is, I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you all after that! So I'll just let Ruslow spill the beans!! Come on Ruslow, you're keeping all of them in suspense too long!!!!

Pete.

Ruslow's been working on a custom big-brake kit. Cheaper then Brembo/Stillen, but not DOT cert. Great for racing. :)

"calipers.. calipers.. are those the round metal thingys or the red doohickeys?" *quoting my girlfriend*

"hey those spiral black thingys look like a spring, or something" *another quote*

brooks ;)

Your RIGHT!

Clonetek gets the prize.[if there was one].There is NO rubber boot/bushing in the calipers. If you look between the caliper and the pad bracket you can see a white bushing. Those are what I made to replace the rubber bushing.Should help in more even pad wear and less drag too.
We will see how well the idea works, and the rotors are different also thats one of my creatures that I am going to use in the open track and open road stuff. If they don't soot me then I will install the big mama"s.

Isn't this fun its like looking for Waldo. :D Stan
