Speedo Update:What gear lube for rear???

svt450

Has Seller's regret
I pulled the sensor out and used a mirror to check the gear. It looked like one tooth was not as "sharp" as the others.:o

So...I am going to pull the diff. cover later today, what gearlube do I want? Synthetic right? What weight?
I know to use some of Ford's friction modifier also.

Thanks!
Jason

What's up? Hey I should be home probably early afternoon. When I get in, if I don't have to work, I'll try to call your home and/or cell and see where you and Seth are at. I don't think I'll be doing anything this afternoon but don't know yet for sure. You can get the friction modifier cheaper at Oreilly's if you want to. Also you can usually get the gear oil there, too, I think. It's been a while since I've had to do the rear differential thing. I think I had actually gotten mine from Pep Boys when i replaced the gears in my 96 stang.
