have a set of NGK TR6's.

Whats the route for swapping the plugs, I see on drivers side it's pretty crowded. Any tips or tricks are appreciated :)
What gap are y'all using with these?
Use a little anti-seize as well?
Torque them in at 13 lb ft (also 156 lb in)

thanks

Rick, there was a web page that had the plug change in great detail. i'll look around and see if I can find a link. With the search feature down at f-150 online it doesnt help. Hold tight!

yeah, I think when I did my LS1 plugs it was a breeze now that I look at the Lightning :) Ford Service disc was no help, just torque spec & small pic that didn't explain what to remove to gain access to the coils & plugs

I have had mine gapped at 44 for over a year and about 15K miles. Another note, make sure you tourque them real good because these trucks have been know to shoot a plug out. You dont want that to happen. Still searching for the web page :)

Chuck is also known as the god of spark plugs;) an he has some helpful hints at his page.:)
Checkout this, maybe it helps;) CHUCK'S LIGHTNING PAGE

I posted some 'tips' on f150online but here is one I forgot: Torquing them will be difficult at best. Run them down to their seat--finger tight--then 1/16th of a turn more with your ratchet. I just pulled # 5 to look it after installing new ones a few weeks ago and it was 'tight' using the method above.

Just got mine done the easier way

Had JJSSVT take care of it for me, while the trucks up there getting some work done. Took him like, 45 minutes to get them out and that was with him talking me through it and taking the time to remove all the brackets that were in the way. Gotta say he's really thorough. I'd recommed him to anyone in the area.

Rick give me a call, I did mine today, took about 1.5 hours. I think I can do it faster next time.

Ok, after the game I swung into Taco Cabana for some Quesadillas and headed back to the apartment. Stuck the fun under the hood while I ate, and began on the drivers side, then got the passenger side, just went and drove it around the block now, throttle responce is improved for sure. Didn't take as long as I thought, I still think the plugs on my LS1 Camaro were a little easier now though :)

thanks guys for your replies!!!
Yes Vans on Ohlen & 183 (I don't think they had a full set of 8 though right now, he said he had 10 in stock, I got my set)
