Damn!!! I have been talking about this car for days on several other boards. It is only a concept, but they could build it. The all aluminum, supercharged 5.4L 4V w/500HP and 500TQ would be nice in a Lightning, no?

I worked at the Detroit Auto Show and saw the car. I also had the opportunity to hear it run, holy cow is it LOUD! It sounds like open headers. It looks like it has a Lightning blower on it and it revs really fast. Very neat sounding. - Brian

an 03' L and GT40 (both with the 4v engine) i'd rather have that combo than the Viper and Ram.

Ford NEEDS a car that can run with the big boys. the older folks that can buy expensive toys are running off and buying Vipers and Vettes.

We were talking about this at work today. I would definitely love one, but I think you'd be looking at $80G's or more.

I wouldn't mind sitting of the drivers seat of that white #4 car, at the end of a runway. That thing looks like it's about ready to takeoff, i'm sure if it had wings it probably could.

talk about a timeless beauty. if it weren't for the wheels, i don't think i'd be able to tell which is which. almost 4 decades later and one of the greatest sports cars in history returns with 'minor' changes.

I would sell my soul for this car. I have always considered the gt40 to be the best looking car EVER. There is no question that if i could in any way obtain one, i would.

One problem: in texas, a car 43 inches tall is going to get rolled over by some inattentive soccer mom in a suburban or expedition.

Otherwise, I'm all for it.
