BEER ME!
recently my five year old son has been learning to spell. this in itself is nothing extrordinary(most of us learn at some time or other) but when i came home from work the other day he met me at the door and said "hey dad guess what i learned to spell"? dragging me into his room and showing me his latest triumph spelled out on his easel i saw two words in his handwriting that made me (sniff, sniff)very proud. they were-"ford" and 'truck". yeah baby! theres another one in the world to carry on the tradition. just had to relate-chris:D :D :D

yahoo you teach him right. next word's lightining, speed, 5.8 etc way to go tell him to keep up the good work.

I've got a few Extremes and Dakota R/T's in the neighborhood and I'm teaching mine that daddy's black truck can beat those. He's knows what a Jeep is, too. I also taught him what a "hottie" is, but the wife's not real impressed with that one:(

yeah, lightning is an awful lot of letters for a five year old, but we're working on it. he knows what a diesel is cause daddy drives one at work. the only prob is he thinks they only come in big trucks!:D another thing i've learned is not to teach him any words that he might repeat in front of his mother. he's not too good at keeping a secret!-chris

My son is 19 months olds and already loves the L. He always runs to it when we get ready to go somewhere. And he always knows when I am coming home. He hears the truck and starts yelling daddy.

He is already turning into my hod rod junkie!!
