It took over 40-50 runs last year to finally get four 12.9x's, at the end of the year...just takes time and MONEY

The 13 sec barrier was ~$1K...the 12.5's will be another $2-3K:m

Agreed on the video. I lost a slip I wanted to keep when I was visiting Lapeer. The run itself wasn't that great, but I had a .501 R/T which I kinda wanted to hang onto.

You're definately close enough, and you are making the power (mph), so hang in there you'll get it. It's an awesome feeling.

Do you run race gas/octane booster?

Is there any 104 unleaded available? I always get at the dragstrip as my low fuel light is coming on, and then I buy 4 gals of 104 unleaded. The one time I did it differently (2 gal) I was starving the pump on takeoff.

Are you running slicks or street tires?

The increased octane seems to help me, but I run a 2-postition chip with a race side setup for that sort of fuel.

Your launching looks fine with a sub 1.9x 60. Hell, your 60's are better than mine and we're running the same slick/rim combo My 4.10's cause me to really feather coming out of the box; 1.94 on my best run below. I wish I could get them to spray some traction compound

Keep an eye on the weather, and if the baro gets high, head for the track
