Thanks to all the Gen 1 guys that showed up for the first day of racin' in 2002 at SDR. I still d/k the final tally, but Karen is compiling a list for us. There had to be 20+, 1s and 2s.

The owner of SDR, Ed Sweringen, emailed me with apologies to the L guys for the long lines. They had 202 racin' vehicles and were a little overwhelmed. They are making some changes and will be able to get more runs in soon.

Really was good to see and meet so many nice(and cool) guys and gals.

Hey guys I just had to put my 2cents in I had a great time at SDR and put down my best time of 14.29
It would be hard to find a beter group of people than lightning owners. Thanks for making my wife feel at home while I made my passes. Count on seeing me, my wife, and my truck at the next Ga meet.....oh yea, mark my words 13.90 will be the next time I post.

I just knew there would be some new et 'bests' set --on 'our' day! Sorry I bugged out early but I was scared I'd have to run against Rusty(red 00L-from Vidalia) again--he's been whuppin' up on the ol' man(that's me) several times but I managed to smack him one Sat. . I even beat his r/t-.573 to .601! The 1/4 ets were 13.098 to 13.315--hehehe.

Lightningen1 and WHITELIGHTNING, you will find me at SDR most every Sat(they change over to Fri. nites in March) it's not raining. I plan to be there this Sat. with temps down in the 50s. I'm so glad you guys had a good time. When you get down here, come over and park near me and we'll gang up on the chebys and doodges!
