Shifting, whats wrong!!

I love my 94 L , never had a problem before with shifting but all of sudden it seems like it dosent like to shift when I start to get on it. It just stays in 3rd gear and slowly gets up to speed, when it used to down shift and really move. What should I check or have looked at? I have a brand new Level 10 shift kit ready to go too. So I need your opinions, Thanks

Well my old f-150 I6 did that when one of the fuel pumps died. Switched to the other tank and it was all good.

My lightning did something similar to that when i had the timing set wrong.

So check your timing, change fuel tanks, think about changing the fuel filter. Sorry my only transmission-specific advice is for when it starts shifting really hard (check map sensor vacuum line)
