ok forgive me, but im bored :p

heres an interesting thought...

i was babbling to someone on IM and the theoretical question came into play...what if you had a sudden "windfall" of $5,000 and decided to bring your L1 up to the "next level"?

a myriad of possibilites came into play, but obviously, most of them centered around a large centrifugal and the capability to run the higher end boost levels. following a close second was a low compression stroker with the option for the blower at a later date.

...what would you do with your truck, in its current form?

AAHHHH, good thing to have a dad that paints. new black skins coming in about a week. and maybe a spray-in bed liner. what I'd do with 5g's, would be a good 393 short block. new wheels, and some really good front brakes. slicks, fans, traction bars, and odds an ends.

AFR's, roller cam & supporting hardware, roller rockers(shaft mount), EEC tuner, extrude lower, rancho's, eaton, fiberglass hood:D :tu:

Ported AFR's, cam motion custom roller cam and hardware, ported lower, bassani headers, roller rockers, drag radials and rims. - Brian

As a 93 Owner

"PAINT" okay now that I've got that off my chest

Complete Exhaust, Well I'm out of "Windfall"

Heck that was fun for about as long as it takes me to make a 1000' pass

Later

Hmmm, instead of the flux, I'd kinda like to have the flying conversion... don't think 5g's would hardly cover that though...

I'd like to have a kickass suspension tune up and fix the stuff's that's aging, (rattly dash, the black dash around the steering wheel on mine, is "sagging")

and then I'd like to have the other half of my truck painted.... who ever heard of repainting one half of a truck!? thats' about as good as putting a set of 302 heads on one...... wait a minute.... *sigh*

:tu:

I'd go with whatever heads are fashionable at the time, a custom grind cam, eec tuner, get ranchos, 3/4 drop, a cervinis cowl hood, whatver steering upgrade i could find, and 3 new sets of wheels and tires:

1.) 2001 Lightning wheels and tires (for the street)
2.) Nice set of drag wheels for slicks and skinnies
3.) powdercoat dark grey a set of stock lightning wheels for autocross and get some sticky 275/40/17 rubber.

Where Y'at Muddy, I'd sent of to ACME Co. for one of there Solid Rocket Motors. And Not that cheap crap like Wile E. Coyote gets. No more traction problems. Look out Bonneville! Here I come!:Y

Better winter beater, EEC tuner, wideband O2 sensor, EGT gauge, data lgging system, new head and intake gaskets, power stroke IC, paxton novi 2K, eaton rear end, 3.73s, beefed up E4OD, slicks and skinnys, new set of street tires, roll cage, lexan back window, new head and intake gaskets, bigger front brakes, new set of street tires, center seat, ported AFRs, stud mount roller rockers, custom grind cam, roller cam conversion, new head and intake gaskets, new set of street tires, fuel system, two ball bearing turbos, a shop to do the rest of the fabricating that I can't do, a new 408 with strong internals, canfeild heads, diffrent intake, convert my 8point cage to 10 point, 6point harness, new set of street tires, another set of slicks, and possibly a chute. Only $5,000? What were not that lucky? I included what I normaly spend plus some more for fun, I also theoreticly sold the used stuff I took off :tu:
