I would seriously contemplate going with a set of Total Engine Airflow Twisted wedge heads.. They're alittle more money, around 1800, but they blow away pretty much anything else for the money.

I just recieved the exact heads Curt is talking about from TEA and they are very nice.I cant wait to get them on.All the renegade guys like TEA's heads,a friend of mine with a renegade car sold me on them.

IF got a set of AFR205s with 1.6s ready to bolt on.I paid 1800.00 for them.
They are a great Head and flow Killer numbers,you cant go wrong with them or TW.

I bought my heads at last years WFC from the vender there.Should still be able to find them for close to that price.

Just remember that the 205s have a raised exhaust port and will require custom headers...

$900 for a set of AFRs??? How in the world are they doing that?!?!

What about the Edelbrock 202's I still have a set of roller rockers ped mount sitting in the garage. I seem to remember an old post that they work without cutting the pistons.Later Alex

Just got off the phone with Tommy Vaughan Ford my AFR's should be hear next week.They gave me a deal for being in the NLOC.Just need to check pussrod length.Went with the pedastal mount 202's.New Paint new heads,Check sig my hog is gone so I mite just go with a new short block.heads are a start.
